Title: Optimizing Soldier Performance Through Data Analytics
Advisors: COL Christopher Lowrance and COL Malcolm Haynes
Summary: This project employs AI computer vision to track bullet holes on targets and generate performance metrics, which are stored in a database. Army leaders can use this system to monitor soldier progress, analyze trends, and optimize marksmanship training strategies. A specific application of this project would address the normally slow and repetitive process of zeroing rifles at an M4 range, allowing more time to be spent on the range itself improving lethality.
