Title: Illegal, Unreported, and Unregulated Fishing: Red Snapper
Advisors: Dr. Karina Mrakovcich, CAPT Victoria Futch, Dr. Donna Selch, and LCDR Kristen Zelman
Summary: This project aims to provide law enforcement recommendations to deter illegal, unreported, and unregulated fishing (IUUF) activity involving red snapper. The team combined Synthetic Aperture Radar and Automatic Identification System vessel tracking data to detect no-AIS vessels in the study area.
